I was already in loads of debt from college when my work placement was downsized after the year they had me. I called the school. they explained that the job placement staff were currently engaged with that years graduates, then they asked for an alumni donation.

Trying to get a job, even at entry level proved to be ineffective with companies saying I was over qualified, I could not seem to influence them that this would benefit their company. So I called home to move back in and save the money from the sale of my house. My father still ran my family’s 4th generation funeral parlour. I had thought that it would have been the 4th and final generation. But now that I am looking at it, I think that After 30 years of working the funeral home that my grandfather founded was bought by Bain Capital and the new owners closed us down.

The upshot is we were bought out with stock so any money we make each year is a return on investment and consequently only taxed at 15% instead of 35% like I used to pay. Now I can spend that extra cash but I need and keep the first investment it seemed to me that there was no way to make more money out of this small amount of stock.

I let it be for a few years hoping that it might grow on its own. After 6 years of hoping for a better return I did some searching for someone who could assist. I went to a large investment house and they laughed me out of there. They worked with big investors only any if you don’t give them a good commission up front they don’t care. I was feeling like a failure I had some cash but no skill to make it grow to cover my growing expenses.

Well, that all altered when I discovered Forex. Forex took a look at my portfolio and its diminutive size was not a major issue for them. They showed me that because it was a smaller sum I could afford to take a risk and when it paid off I was able to reinvest and grow my portfolio with more varied selections. It made me into the man I am today, I have decided to call what I do early retirement, but really, I am just living my dream. I met a nice woman who later married me. She has her own money, but she loves me being the house husband. And now I can begin the life I had to put on hold since I graduated college.

I can even kick back in my brand new hot tub at the end of the day and chill out in the warmth while taking in the beautiful snowy icelandic views.. I cannot recommend forex trading more. It is the reason that I wanted to work at all to one day have a home where I can relax and feel at home.
